eBay

Listing imports, why price and quantity travel with the inventory submission rather than separately, and the signing requirement on EU/UK order operations.

eBay is both a source and a publishing target. It is not currently available as a price and stock source of truth.

Importing from eBay

Your existing listings are pulled in and staged like any other source, carrying the eBay category they are already filed under — so republishing to eBay skips classification.

Publishing to eBay

eBay differs from Amazon in one way worth planning around: price and quantity ride along with the inventory submission rather than having a separate channel. A price or stock change therefore goes out through the same path a content change does.

Taxonomy

eBay categories are imported per country on a recurring schedule and versioned the same way Amazon's product types are.

Orders

Orders are pulled from eBay, and cancellations and refunds can be pushed back.

One operational note for EU and UK sellers: eBay requires digitally signed requests for some order operations. Where that signing is not configured, refund and cancel calls are refused by eBay — the listing side is unaffected.
